'Is it... White Christmas?' Woman behind sex toy that vibrates in time to festive tunes asks passersby if they can identify their favourite classics simply by HOLDING it as it buzzes
- The Crescendo sex toy can be controlled remotely via an app
- Made by MysteryVibe, has mechanism allowing it to bend to user's body shape
- Makers unveiled 'playlist' of vibration patterns timed to festive tunes
- Co-founder asked members of the public to identify the song from just the buzz
Christmas is coming, in more than one sense, for users of a new vibrator.
The Crescendo, billed as the world's first 'body-adapting sex toy' thanks to a mechanism in the rubber skin that bends it to fit users' body shape, has launched a 'festive playlist' of vibration patterns.
Controlled by an app, traditional tunes like Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and We Wish You A Merry Christmas all provide a unique pattern that helps the user to really jingle all the way.
To test it out, the brand's co-founder and 'chief pleasure officer' Stephanie Alys took the sex toy out on the street to ask unsuspecting members of the public just how well they know their favourite festive classic.
Stephanie asked them to hold on to the Crescendo and identify the tune purely from the vibrations - leaving passersby variously amused, startled - and just plain confused.
One woman can be seen holding the sex toy to her nose to deduce the track, eventually correctly guessing: 'Is it... White Christmas?'
Stephanie Alys, chief pleasure officer and co-founder of MysteryVibe, asked the public to guess the Christmas song from the vibration patterns
For some the task at hand was easy, as one woman touched the sex toy to her nose to feel the sensation
British sex tech company MysteryVibe, the makers behind Crescendo, said they wanted to encourage users to have a 'little fun' this Christmas.
'Love them or hate them, Christmas songs ignite a sense of excitement and joy in us all,' said Stephanie.
'So we thought, imagine if we coupled that with the feeling of an intense orgasm?!'
MysteryVibe have said they've had extremely positive feedback from the playlist which is available to download via their app.
Others took hold of the sex toy in their hand as they concentrated on the different vibration pattern that promises a festive orgasm
People had to guess the Christmas song with just the sense of touch providing hilarity for onlookers
One user said of the vibrator, which retails at £139: 'When you told me I could orgasm to my favourite Christmas song I didn't really believe it... until I tried it.
'Jingle Bells was definitely my favourite. This is the stress reliever I need to get me through the festive season!'
Another said: 'My boyfriend loves the tech element to it. I was actually surprised by how effective the vibrations really were. Jingle Bells is intense.
My boyfriend teased me with Merry Christmas as it's a little softer. Can't wait to spend my Christmas Eve trying them all out.'
