But the classic American coupe - which was once a 6.2L rear-wheel drive - hasn't yet received any bids.

The striking sale images show the charred remains of the expensive vehicle in a burnt heap.

The metal remains of the car are completely twisted but could potentially be reused as scrap.

An advert for the vehicle lists it as being in the colour 'burn' and features shocking photos showing the condition of the 'car'.

The car is going up for sale on the Copart website, which specializes in used and salvaged vehicles.

The online car auctioneers were unable to provide further details about how the lot came to be in such a terrible state.
