Australian reality television star who appeared on The Voice is 'raped, choked, kidnapped and chased through a hospital corridor by ex-boyfriend'

The ex-boyfriend of an Australian reality television star has been accused of a reign of terror against his former partner which allegedly included him chasing the terrified woman through the halls of a hospital with a scalpel before raping her.
The 32-year-old man from Baulkham Hills in Sydney’s north-west allegedly kidnapped, raped and physically assaulted the former The Voice Australia contestant in a series of assaults dating back to 2015.
The alleged sexual and physical abuse began early in the couple's relationship, according to The Courier Mail, with the attacker threatening to burn down the woman's parents' home in one occasion.

The couple had been staying in a hotel in Strathfield when the argument broke out. The man allegedly dragged the woman across the footpath before she took refuge in a neighbouring unit.
His threats allegedly began when the woman refused to meet him outside.
'Everybody’s lives will be ruined. You know I’m not afraid to do it,' the man allegedly said during an argument.
The alleged attack in the hospital occurred months later when the victim went in for medical treatment.
It is alleged the man closed the doors to the room of the hospital before taking hold of a scalpel and cutting the woman's face as he demanded she have sex with him.
'Open your legs. I want you now. I’m going to have you now,' the man allegedly said.

The woman managed to escape as he allegedly climbed on top of her but he followed her through the corridors allegedly cornering her in a bathroom before raping her.
The man is charged with aggravated sexual assault with threat to inflict actual bodily harm with a weapon, two counts of intentionally choke person with recklessness, two counts of aggravated sexual assault and deprive liberty, aggravated sexual assault inflict actual bodily harm and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
