But her career is something she's always continuing to learn about.

'I'm still going to other hair classes. I'm always updating my hair skills. The more you can educate yourself the better. Never stop learning,' she said.

For someone who spends each and everyday behind the blow dryer, Janet knows a thing or two about maintaining your hair - particularly when it comes to curling.

'When curling your hair with a curling iron start from the middle, not the ends of your hair. That way your curls will last way longer,' she said.

If you're looking to create a classy updo try the 'double ponytail trick', Janet said.

The trick involves tying a high ponytail up with half of your hair and using the remaining strands underneath to tie a second ponytail. They need to be quite close together for this to work.

Then secure a hair band around both ponytails and pull them together. The result is a longer, thicker ponytail.

If you'd rather tame your strands the 26-year-old suggests incorporating a toothbrush into your routine.

'It is a leave in treatment. So no need to stand there and wait in the shower. Just apply it when your hair is damp and that's it.

'It honestly leaves your hair feeling soft and smooth without the gritty feel,' she said.
