'Oh my God!' Terrified onlookers gasp as a speedboat smashes into jagged rocks and flips upside down

A speed boat crashed into jagged rocks and flipped upside down forcing its passengers to abandon ship in this terrifying video.
Powering through the choppy waters on the Salmon River, Idaho, two sailors approached a large whirl of rapids.
Their vessel, named Maniac 313, careened its way across the swirl of water to find the smoothest route through.

However, the pair were instead sent hurtling towards the rocks, knocking them up on their side, into the air and crashing down onto another formation, before flipping upside down in the water.
Looking on in horror with her family, Jenni Stout, from Greenacres, Washington, said: 'Everyone was in complete shock, we were all just hoping neither of them were injured.
'My heart completely stopped, I just kept thinking, "Please be okay, please be okay", waiting to see them emerge at the surface of the water.

'When they didn't everyone was screaming for the rescue boats to come and save them.
'Thankfully, after a few seconds both appeared from underneath the boat and we were all relieved.'
Luckily, both racers on board the boat escaped without injury, living to race another day.

Ms Stout said: 'I attend the Riggins race ever year and I have never seen anything quite like that before.
'To be honest I could quite happily live my life without ever seeing so again.
'I'm very much relieved they were both okay.'
