On Wednesday, the day the GOP was initially supposed to vote on the health care bill, Ivanka Trump and helped her son Joseph learn to ski in Aspen

President Donald Trump is reportedly furious that senior adviser Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump were hitting the slopes as the crucial GOP heath care bill went downhill on Friday.

A source close to the president told CNN the president 'is upset that his son-in-law and senior adviser was not around during this crucial week.'

A White House spokesperson, however, denied this is the case.

Ivanka and Jared enjoyed a fun-filled time shopping and skiing in Aspen as GOP support for the bill to repeal and replace Obamacare dwindled.

On Thursday, Ivanka and Jared were spotted taking a carefree stroll away from the White House chaos with their children in Aspen.

Also on Thursday, the scheduled vote for health care reform was set back another day because of lack of support.

As Jared Kushner pushed son Joseph down the Aspen slopes Friday, President Trump was attempting to push GOP representatives into voting for the new health bill the day after the anniversary of the Affordable Care Act.

Speaker Paul Ryan pulled the collapsing bill from the House floor on Friday.

During his campaign, Trump promised to repeal the bill on 'day one' of his presidency.

Although it was GOP infighting that caused the legislative crisis, the president predicted that Obamacare will ultimately crash and burn – forcing Democrats to come crawling to the White House for his help in crafting a workable replacement 'when it explodes – which it will soon.'

'The losers are Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer,' Trump claimed, naming the Democratic Party's leaders in the House and Senate, 'because now they own Obamacare. They own it. One hundred per cent own it.'

'They have Obamacare for a little while longer until it ceases to exist, which it will at some point in the near future.'

'And just remember,' Trump warned: 'This is not our bill. This is their bill. Now when they all become civilized and get together and try to work out a great health care bill for the people of this country, we're open to it.'

The bill would have changed the Obamacare provision which forced health insurance providers to cover maternity and mental health services.

The states also would have been allowed to decide which of Obamacare's 'essential benefits' insurers would have to provide.
