AND DON'T FORGET TO PUT YOUR CLOCKS FORWARD

This year, the clocks will be going forward on March 26 to mark the start of British Summer Time.

Clocks will go forward by one hour which means there will be more daylight in the evenings and less in the mornings.

Specifically, clocks will go forward by one hour at 1am in the morning - we will then get an hour less in bed.

Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) will start again from the last Sunday in October (October 29) – when the clocks go back one hour again.

New Zealander George Hudson first proposed the modern idea of daylight saving in 1895, but British Summer Time was suggested by William Willett in 1908, according to Greenwich Royal Museums.
