What Does The Roy Moore Loss In Alabama Mean For Donald Trump?
DC Whispers ^ | December 12, 2017 | DCWhispers

Posted on 12/13/2017 8:43:45 AM PST by Bratch

If you are a Trump supporter don’t allow yourself to think for a second Roy Moore’s defeat to a Democrat opponent in Alabama is an isolated one-off result.

It’s not.

D.C. Whispers provided readers with a real-time election night update that began with a rather surprising vote of confidence from the always-good Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft who declared his sources were very optimistic of a Moore victory. During our own real-time updates the actual on-the-ground sources painted a far different picture. It was to be a tight race with momentum shifting in Democrat Doug Jones’s favor. Jones over-performed by a wide margin in counties Donald Trump easily carried in 2016 and that was the difference.

What this means for Donald Trump in the short-term is this – the National Media will use Moore’s loss as evidence the nation is turning against the Trump agenda. This will then be followed up with something far more serious the beginnings of which are already under way as reported here first at D.C. Whispers:

Roy Moore was defeated under the weight of sexual misconduct scandal over alleged incidents that took place decades ago. Moore was a national test-case. Now that same treatment is to be turned against Donald Trump ten-fold. Team Trump already knows this of course, and is bracing for impact – but what an impact it will likely be. Even a president with the resiliency of a Donald Trump will find himself stunned by what is to come.

Republicans abandoned Roy Moore in Alabama due to unproven allegations. The media and political establishments are now preparing to have the same thing happen to Donald Trump.

Trump supporters will largely say for now there is no way that will happen even as the establishment licks its collective chops and whispers, “…wait and see.”

There is now one more vote for impeachment of Trump coming into the U.S. Senate. The make-up of the House might very well shift dramatically after the 2018 Midterms.

There’s trouble brewing for all who voted for and continue to support Donald Trump. If he is to emerge from the upcoming war, he will need all of you fighting alongside him.

His enemies are confident enough of you won’t.

We shall see.

Nothing much. (1) Trump had endorsed Moore’s opponent in the primary. (2) Moore looked eccentric and scary to many beyond his ideological base. (3) It was a close election.

I disagree, Trump never really wanted Crazy Roy from the beginning... He knew he was nuts. He did half heartedly endorse him in the end because he basically had to, not cause he wanted to...

Trump will be just fine...

It’s just the Dems have found a new way to trash people. Used to be Racism now it’s rape.

It’s now OK for women to bait men to destroy them. Makes being a muzzie all the more attractive. They should be careful of what they wish for.

I might add that showing up on a horse to vote on election morning was not the best idea. I think that cost Moore thousands of votes among the undecideds.

Republicans abandoned Roy Moore in Alabama due to unproven allegations.

Alabamans got rooked by 40 year-old unproven allegations by questionable sources, right before a significant election.

We have a great future as a country. Go lie and tell your kids that.

In other words, “We can destroy any candidate you put forth.” Response: “We don’t have to lie to destroy your candidates. All we have to do is tell the truth.”

And just how long do they think Doug “Moore” Jones (all due deference to Sheila Jackson-Lee) is going to last in Alabama?

They are conniving, gutless, pandering evil sob’s. If they abandon Trump, I leave the GOP.

There is now one more vote for impeachment of Trump coming into the U.S. Senate.

The Senate doesn't vote "for impeachment".

This article is fear mongering. Trump fights back. Moore denied, which is critical, but didn't punch back.

The article is 100% correct.

The media is framing their assault on Moore and his loss as a loss for Trump.

Moore was easy for the media to destroy. A few false accusations supposedly from 40 years ago were enough to defeat him.

After seeing this, the amazing thing is that Trump was able to win the presidency.

The media, the Republican Party, every celebrity and every Washington insider worked to defeat Trump. Trump endured far worse than Roy Moore did. But Trump was able to win.

The new strategy is simple. Keep repeating lies and false accusations. Get Republicans to undermine and backstab Trump.

You can always count on Trump to avoid having the buck stop with him.

Nothing. Trump is way more popular in Alabama than Moore.

He likely would have been too controversial a distraction to really be an effective lieutenant in the Senate for Trump. I recall reading reports that had Moore won, the Senate might have likely done a formal investigation on him before even swearing him in.

That is why its in the GOP’s best interests to SUE those accusers and DESTROY GLORIA ALLRED.

They CAN turn this in to a victory of sorts.

But of course they won’t. They don’t WANT to be in control. Its too dangerous to their seats. They want to continue to the minority party, blame the Democrats and either not vote or cast votes to benefit the globalist crooks who stuff their campaign pockets with money.
