Totally baffling. This Associated Press write-up of yesterday's FBI press conference makes clear that everyone involved agrees that deceased shooter James Hodgkinson detested Republicans with a fiery passion, yet investigators seem unwilling to call his attack premeditated or specifically targeted -- nor will they comment on his motive at this point. Why? Am I missing something here? This is what they're telling us right now:
The gunman who shot a top House Republican and four other people on a Virginia baseball field didn’t have any concrete plans to inflict violence on the Republicans he loathed, FBI officials said Wednesday...They said he acted alone and had no connections to terror groups. But they said they had not yet clarified who, if anyone, he planned to target, or why, beyond his animus toward President Donald Trump and the Republicans he felt were ruining the country...“At this point in the investigation, it appears more spontaneous,” Slater said. Hodgkinson had a piece of paper with the names of six members of Congress written on it, Slater said, but the note lacked any further context and there was no evidence from his computer, phone or other belongings that indicated he planned to target those officials... He also took pictures of the baseball field where he would later fire more than 60 shots. “The FBI does not believe that these photographs represented surveillance of intended targets,” the FBI said in a statement.

If that is not the reason, then this is not incompetence or stupidity, can't be. It would be another crime.

Mind boggling unless they’re investigating others but their statements are pretty conclusive. And to me, obvious lies.
Back to the old “intent” thingy, I see.
Remember when we respected the FBI?
Yes, it was most probably as corrupt then, but we did believe in them.
But, we believed in the press also.
Yeah, he didn’t know what the hell he was doing.
He didn’t even know the thing in his hand was a gun, and he didn’t know that if aimed it at a Republican Congressman and pulled the trigger, he might hurt or kill a politician he didn’t like.

If the deep state FBI reported anything else, all eyes would be on Democrats, Liberals and the MSM for incitement.
Anybody who had anything to do with the FBI publishing this lie as their conclusion should be fired immediately for any number of reasons.
“Spontaneous” is code for “Cover-Up”. Ie. Benghazi.
The FBI is protecting the former Mayor, and other Dems, who met with Hodgkinson every day before the shooting.
If this is not subtrefuge to flush out others like Hodgkinson, then a bunch of people need to be fired ASAP.
Really? Our Feckless Bureau of Investigation sounds as clueless as the Brits when a terrorist shouts Allahu Akbar and mows people down, and they can’t divine a motive.
It’s just the FBM (Federal Bureau of Matters) proving that they have the brains of your average housefly.

He had no target in mind, other than specifying he was looking for Republicans.
When you go to the amount of trouble and preparation he did, it is definitely NOT spontaneous.

Atlanta Olympics, 1996:
An overweight security guard Richard Jewell finds a bomb in a crowded Atlanta park, an act of terror. He alerts the cops, but the bomb goes off and a desperate Bill Clinton facing a reelection bid ORDERS the FBI to simplify things by making Richard Jewell the perp.
Knowing Richard Jewell revers “real cops” the FBI brings him in for questioning, finally pretending to relent and accept his story of innocence. They then flattered him and lowered his guard by chatting him up in grand style like A Law Enforcement Colleague.
The FBI then claimed to Jewell that they were making a Training Videotape simulation in which a perp under questioning breaks down and confresses to a bombing, “Ah shucks, our actor crapped out, got sick, say Richard, would ya help us FBI guys out..?”
A micrometer away from consenting to help them with their “training video”, Jewell suddenly realizes if he cooperated with “his friends”, they might turn around use the tape against him in the world famous bombing that just transpired.
He calls his ex-roomate, a lawyer, who admonishes Jewell that he’s in very grave danger. He leaves the FBI questioning and AVOIDS LIFE IN PRISON BY A WHISKER.
YOUR FBI IS **FINE** ACTING AS AN INSTRUMENT OF POLITICAL TERROR.
It started at least 20 years ago.
They need to quit resting on their laurels. I’m tired of hearing how they are the preeminent law enforcement agency in the world. It’s no longer true . . . sadly
Why would then necessarily think that he was in touch with anyone. The tenor of the media rhetoric is enough to inspire this sort of thing.
