Trumping the State Department

Reining in the budget and activities of this bloated bureaucracy is essential

President Trump’s budgetary assault on the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is long overdue. He is forcing a rethinking that will benefit America and the world.

The State Department is one of the most bloated of federal bureaucracies. Front line consular officers, many just starting their careers at State, actually help Americans abroad. However, there are also countless “Hallway Ambassadors” who aimlessly roam from irrelevant meeting to obscure policy forum, killing time and our tax dollars.

The State Dept is a bloated bureaucracy......

And Hillary (and Obama) monetized it bigtime ......zillions of our tax dollars were used as a shakedown tactic to extort Clinton Foundation donations from foreign aid recipients.

ITEM---This should be high on the list of Clinton investigations: An obscure Baptist Church in dirt-poor Cameroon, Sub-Saharan Africa, gave the Clinton Foundation....wait for it....TEN MILLION DOLLARS. NOTE: Cameroon is the recipient of hundreds of millions of foreign aid grants from the State Dept....for every social ill imaginable.

Is this the classic Clinton Foundation laundry? <><> then-secy Hillary doles out State Dept foreign aid (our tax dollars) to the Cameroon govt, <><> the Cameroon govt then launders the foreign aid into the Baptist church, <><> the church takes a cut then donates the rest to the Clinton Foundation.

Remember that Secy Clinton's top aide, Cheryl Mills, a US govt employee, inexplicably found time to operate the BlackIvy Group, a development company focused on Sub-Saharan Africa AT THE SAME TIME she was pocketing a US govt paycheck.

AND THIS--- Obama routinely gave away huge amounts of our tax dollars with no Congressional oversight at all.

Can you say kickback?

Obama pledges $7 billion to upgrade power in Africa
CNN ^ | Updated 0044 GMT (0844 HKT) July 1, 2013 | By Faith Karimi and Matt Smith, CNN / FR Posted by vannrox

U.S. President Barack Obama pledged $7 billion Sunday to help combat frequent power blackouts in sub-Saharan Africa.

Funds from the initiative, dubbed Power Africa, will be distributed over the next five years. Obama made the announcement during his trip to South Africa, the continent's biggest economy.

"Access to electricity is fundamental to opportunity in this age. It's the light that children study by, the energy that allows an idea to be transformed into a real business. It's the lifeline for families to meet their most basic needs, and it's the connection that's needed to plug Africa into the grid of the global economy," he said.

Two-thirds of the population of sub-Saharan Africa lacks access to electricity, including more than 85% of those living in rural areas, the White House said. "A light where currently there is darkness -- the energy to lift people out of poverty -- that's what opportunity looks like," Obama told students at Cape Town University.

"So this is America's vision: a partnership with Africa for growth, and the potential for every citizen, not just a few at the top."

PIC President Barack Obama kicks around an energy-generating soccer ball at a power plant in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Tuesday, July 2.

Obama was pushing for partnerships in energy as he concluded a three-nation trip to Africa. Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete, third from right, joined Obama at the Symbion Power Plant at Ubungo.

Obamas invoke Mandela's legacy: The program includes $1.5 billion from the U.S. Overseas Private Investment Corporation and $5 billion from the Export-Import Bank, the White House said. Sub-Saharan Africa will need more than $300 billion to achieve universal electricity access by 2030, it said.

The preliminary setup will include Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda and Mozambique. -- SNIP -- (Excerpt) Read more at edition.cnn.com ...

(hat tip Kenya Sunday Standard)

DID PRESIDENT OBAMA ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING FOR HIS HOMELAND?

<><> 2 billion US tax dollars to the Muslim Brotherhood,

<><> $50 million US tax dollars to his tax-exempt foundation in the form of a grant to Kenya.

<><> Total US Foreign Aid to Kenya (FY 2012): $749,236,440

<><> $418M arms sale to Kenya

==================================================

TAXPAYERS PAY NOW---Obama collects later. Can you say kickback? Obama's federal outlays (that we know of):

<><> The Iran-Nuclear Agreement, considered by many to be “The worst agreement in U.S. diplomatic history”… certainly an accomplishment that rates high on the progressive list of ex-president Obama’s “successes”.

<><> Bags full of secret cash and gold to Iran.

<><> $2 billion funding to half-brother Malik's organization---the Muslim Brotherhood,

<><> $50 million to Malik/Barack's tax-exempt foundation in the form of a grant to Kenya.

<><> While the Muslim Brotherhood was in charge in Egypt, Obama (and Hillary) showered them w/ praise.....and billions of US dollars in aid, arms, tanks and planes.

<><> Obama gave $90 million US tax dollars to wealthy oil-rich Muslim African Muslim countries.

<><> the billions missing from the Obamacare PR scam.

<><> the billions missing from the State Dept under Hillary.

==========================================

MASSIVE GOVT LOOTING

<><>Remember "compassionate" Michelle talking about "teaching Muslim girls"? Obama sent Michelle off to oil-rich Muslim Quatar w/ $73 million US tax dollars "to teach Muslim girls."

<><> Recently, he gave her 100 million dollars to give Muslim Morocco "to teach Muslim girls" (the 100 million to be held by, and doled out by, the Obama Foundation).

Clinton Foundation donor received $13 million from State Department
Washington Examiner ^ | April 18, 2016 | Rudy Takala / FRPosted by huldah1776

The State Department doled out $13 million in grants for longtime friend and Clinton Foundation donor Muhammad Yunus during Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of state, according to federal records.

The grants were provided in 18 separate transactions from the U.S. Agency for International Development to the Bangladesh-based Grameen bank, according to a Sunday evening report from the Daily Caller News Foundation, for which Yunus served as a founding board member.

Groups associated with Yunus through business relationships received an additional $11 million. Yunus oversaw the distribution of microcredit loans to impoverished borrowers for the bank for over 30 years.

Thanks in part to years of lobbying by former president Bill Clinton, Yunus received a Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for what the committee called "efforts through microcredit to create economic and social development from below."

When the Bangladeshi government in 2011 began investigating the bank over charges that funds had been mismanaged, Hillary Clinton intervened as secretary of state, contacting the country's officials directly in addition to holding a news conference in the U.S. to express "concern and hope" that the bank would "continue to function productively."

Yunus was nonetheless forced out of his position later that year by his government. (Excerpt) Read more at washingtonexaminer.com ...
