Sometimes a trailer is worth a thousand words, and the trailer for the upcoming Metal Shooter is definitely worth that. This shmup game feels like an update of classic games like Contra, and you can now join the beta in our forums to help make it even better. As you can see from the trailer, the game has some fun platforming ideas that go beyond just shooting and jumping non-stop, and the animations look pretty cool too. Add to that crazy weapons – see those twirling bullets? – and we might have ourselves a winner.
If you want to check Metal Shooter out, you can go to our Upcoming Games forum thread and apply to join the open beta. No information yet on when the game is coming out, but hopefully it’s not that far into the future.
