We have featured David Beckham previously on Spot the Watch along with his wife Victoria and their various timepieces. David Beckham likes to wear some of his watches on a retro style bund strap or a classic NATO, which can give them a completely different and toned down look.
We spotted him recently rocking a yellow gold Rolex Yacht-Master, without the matching yellow gold bracelet but on a bund strap. Usually a solid gold Rolex with bracelet can be a bit too flashy, but with the bracelet removed and attached to a leather bund strap, the look of the watch is more understated and goes well with a casual outfit.

Not all watches will work with a bund or NATO strap but sometimes they just do. Try experimenting with some of your sport watches by wearing them on a strap instead of the bracelet and you may find yourself wearing pieces that you haven’t worn in a while.
