Seems like he is directly engaging in politics.
Public corporations do. Because those CEOs are under pressure to show quarter-over-quarter gains, they are constantly looking for ways to appease and play up to their big investors and investment analysts. They are like politicians and a TV camera...never get between the two! They knew all about not letting a crisis go to waste long before Rahm-bo said it, and the opportunity to grandstand was too tempting not to take.
But so what. Average Americans could care less. In fact average Americans hate their guts.
Anyone who’s ever dealt with big corporations, they are deathly afraid of liberal and racial criticism.

No in this case their next quarterly report is the least of their worries - it’s their lives and careers that has them preoccupied. Any prominent CEO seen siding with Trump is taking a huge career risk. Who want’s a mob with the media in tow descend on their headquarters and getting called a confederate sympathizer and a Nazi?
The only thing that would alter their reaction is if enough on our side would make the CEOs lives even more miserable than the leftists do, or if we protect them from the attack dogs of the left.
I don’t think they see either occurring so they go with their only option for survival - kowtow to the left.
Where is the so-called “White Privilege” when major corporations led by supposedly white privileged dudes are brought to their knees by SJW snowflakes?
