Senior Trump appointee fired after critical comments (Craig Deare)
Fox news ^ | February 19, 2017

Craig Deare, whom Trump appointed a month ago to head the National Security Council's Western Hemisphere division, was on Friday escorted out of the Executive Office Building, where he worked in Washington.

A senior White House official confirmed that Deare is no longer working at the NSC and has returned to the position he previously held at the National Defense University. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss an incident not otherwise made public, and provided no further details.

But current and former administration officials say Deare's termination was linked to remarks he made Thursday at a private talk at the Wilson Center, a Washington think tank. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter.

You're fired! Trump sacks another senior security official, after he criticized the President on Mexico and made 'awkward' comments about Ivanka's good looks

Sounds like he hid his pro-illegal immigration stance and was found out.

It sounded like he wanted to honky tonk with Ivanka.

This guy obviously does not understand the distinction between advisor and decision maker. He also missed the class about not embarrassing your boss by under cutting his programs. Lastly he missed the lecture about who was elected verses who is appointed.

Probably a really good suspect as a leaker.

Exactly. That will probably get you escorted out the door faster than anything else.

I was taught early on to never bad mouth a previous employer during an interview. And really don’t do it if you get hired. How much stronger would the admonish be if they were referring to your current employer?

Only an idiot or mole acts like this

I know someone who works at NDU. I was just thinking today that he'd be good at NSA and wondering if people were ever tapped from there.

Disturbingly, my friend has said that most of his colleagues voted for Obama/Hillary. He pretty much keeps his mouth shut about politics. If he mentions a headline he's seen on Drudge, he get eye rolls. The same with referencing Fox News. The libs are embedded deep.

“It sounded like he wanted to honky tonk with Ivanka.”

I read somewhere that’s how Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s original campaign manager got sacked. CL was the guy that got Trump unto the top of the polls for the first time since 2015 before bannon came on board. Bannon just rode his ideas. Apparently, Kushner didn’t like the way CL looked at his wife.

Trump was clear in his campaign promises as to what his agenda would entail.

Trump has followed thru on his campaign promises.

Trump appointees are smart people and if they are having a problem understanding the job, then they need to be dismissed immediately.

There are plenty of people who have a viewpoint similar to Trump.

I read elsewhere that Craig Deare was brought in by Flynn.

Years ago I did some work with the NSA, they had a monthly meeting set up and the guy running it cancelled once because there was a local election and he was a Democrat poll worker. Surprised me then, not anymore.

As anyone who has run a large change management program, you have to get non-team members off the team quickly.

Drain the swamp.

Looks to me that the whole concept of a security council is passé. Why does Trump need a security council? He has good judgment and takes his own counsel.
