Would-be groom drops lawsuit against his former fiancee after she returns the $125K ring she kept when their plush New York wedding was canceled due to family fistfight

  • Bradley Moss, 32, and Amy Bzura, 27, were set to marry in October last year
  • But their families got into a punch-up before the wedding and it was canceled
  • Moss sued Bzura because he said she 'willfully and maliciously' kept the ring
  • But she has now returned the item, both Moss and her brother have confirmed
  • Bzura's father also sued Moss's father over the costs of the $325K wedding

A groom whose expensive Manhattan wedding fell apart after a very public family feud has finally had his $125,000 engagement ring returned - after four months and two lawsuits.

Bradley Moss, 32, was due to marry Amy Bzura, 27, on October 28 last year, but their families erupted into an argument at a meal the night before the wedding, resulting in a fist-fight and acrimonious split.

In the wake of the collapse, Bzura's family sued Moss's over who would foot the bill for the $325,000 wedding, while Moss sued Bzura for the return of the ring.

And while it was far from a fairytale wedding, it has ended moderately happily for Moss, who now has the ring back, the New York Post reported.

The emerald-cut diamond ring was '100 per cent' returned to Moss, said Bzura's brother, Adam.

'This is over! It’s over! There's nothing to write about,' Moss added when asked for comment.

The couple's matrimonial plans hit the skids during a pre-wedding feast at Blue Water Grill in Manhattan's Union Square.

According to a suit filed by Bzura's father, Bruce, last week, his son Adam had been about to give a speech about the bride and groom when Moss's father 'inexplicably and angrily declared that Adam was not allowed to speak at the dinner.'

Robert Moss, 64, then asked 'Do you know what I can do to you?' the suit said.

Bradley's mom, Wendy, 60, then began to argue with Adam shortly before Bradley's brother, Michael, punched him in the mouth, the suit claimed.

During the pandemonium, the bride apparently gave the groom an ultimatum - 'Make a choice, me or your mother,' a source told the Post.

The groom seemingly picked his mother, as the $1,100-a-head wedding was canceled.

However, Amy's brother said the ultimatum 'never happened.'

Regardless, the wedding was over and Bruce Bzura sued Robert Moss for the $89,919 cost he had allegedly promised to pay for the 79 wedding guests invited by his family.

Meanwhile, Bradley Moss sued his former fiancee for ownership of the $125,000 ring which she allegedly 'willfully and maliciously refused' to return.

That suit is now closed. It's not clear whether the dispute between Bruce Bzura and Robert Moss is ongoing.
