Man, he's still dangerous capable of KOing anyone, but I just wonder what the future holds for him? What's the best we can expect of him. I have to say I was one of those who bought into the hype after TUF. And I kept making excuses for him (A split decision loss to Gastelum doesn't seem so bad in retrospect).

But how far can he take it? Will he ever challenge for a title? How does he do in Chris Wiedman rematch? What's the best case scenario for him? How does he do against Bisping? I think he's top five material on a good day

Exciting top 15/10 fighter.
Nothing wrong with that.

Watching a Uriah Hall fight is like betting on black,

Your either doing to win or lose. Hard to get excited for his fights with those odds...

Uhm he is fighting Vitor?

I think the future, for Uriah Hall, is whats ahead of him

he has so much talent that one day he could even maybe dream of becoming a real... Gatekeeper

Taking The Armenian & Alexander Shemenko through Desert Storm.

Bottom tier gatekeeper IMO. He has the physical tools to be a champ, but the mental fortitude of Overeem. The dude just mentally crumbles whenever he's not dictating the pace. He's proven time and time again that even middle of the pack guys can break him mentally...Natal, Howard, Brunson....he should really have beaten all those guys.

If he doesn't back straight up to the cage and shell up when pressured and get put away, he's happy to coast to a loss when he's obviously losing.

Which is weird, because even guys on TUF would say that Hall was too much of a warrior in training and always had to win every round. IMO that shows how the dude just doesn't have the mental tools to handle actual fighting with guys who aren't intimidated by his athleticism.

Some spectacular KOs, some underwhelming losses. Rinse and repeat as needed...

Performance capture for video games, I'm thinking.

.500

He’s skilled enough, but even if he overcomes his mental hang-ups, he’s a little too old to climb to the top.

While he doesnt have a pretty record at a glance 13-8, he has some decent names. Leben, Santos, Jotko, Mousasi and soon to be Vitor. I say he has another 3 years or another 6-8 fights left in him. Don't see him cracking a spot higher than lets say #7. I can see him beating 7 or 8 of the top 15.

He fought with a broken toe (there was visibly bone sticking out) and won a close fight against a very offensively dangerous Santos. You don't win in that situation if you're quitter. Brunson loss was in part because Brunson was in the mid of a win streak playing a very fatalistic fighting style that was working for him so far, it was either do or die, and he hit Hall with a big shot which immediately ko'd Hall. And what does being one punch ko'd has to do with being mentally weak? The fight was too short and ended too sudden to really make someone believably give up.

And what about his fights against Mousasi and Jotko, being completely owned and as close to being finished as you could without the fight being stopped, still end up winning both fights in the second round. That's a clear case of coming back from some serious adversity.

I do think he is someone who let's things get to his head, but he is not as mentally weak as people like to view him. Aforementioned 3 examples are clear examples of him showing serious balls.

He's fighting Belfort on January 14th at UFC Pyongyang, on the undercard of the big Bethe Correia fight

Didn't really live up to the potential I thought he had. He has some good wins though, still can't believe he beat Mousasi.
