Mega Man Legacy Collections 1 & 2 are coming to Switch in May

In digital and physical forms.

Capcom has announced that both instalments of the Mega Man Legacy Collection are coming to Switch on May 22nd.

The original Mega Man Legacy Collection includes the first six NES-era Mega Man games, plus a concept art and production art gallery, songs from each game, and challenges. It's also possible to access 11 additional fan-made challenges - previously exclusive to the 3DS version of the game - using a standard or gold Mega Man amiibo.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, meanwhile, features Mega Man 7 to 10, as well as art, music, and challenges. It also includes all previously released DLC from Mega Man 9 and 10 - giving access to time attacks, bonus stages, and more. There are also additional Switch-only challenges that can again be unlocked with either Mega Man amiibo.

Mega Man Legacy Collections 1 & 2 will be available to purchase individually on eShop come May 22nd, with the first collection costing $14.99 and the second priced at $19.99.

Capcom is also releasing a physical edition for $39.99, which will include Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 on the cartridge and a download code for the second collection. This version has only been confirmed for release in North America so far.

I've contacted Capcom for UK pricing on all of the above, and to see if we can expect a cartridge release in Europe too.
