Nintendo Switch + $35 Gift Card for $299 - Walmart

Is this not a good deal? I figured this thread would be more active. I recently started thinking of getting a switch and this seems like a good buy.

I wonder if Nintendo is going to be more aggressive with hardware and accessory sales/promotions compared to before.

This is tempting, but I'd prefer to order from Best Buy to earn some rewards as well.  I'll think it over, thanks for sharing this deal OP!

I'm tempted but won't bite.  I'm hoping for a holiday bundle including a game at best buy :)  (hopefully Mario Odyssey or Breathe of the Wild)

Is this online only? It says the Switch is only available for shipping. But if I go to the actual Switch product page, it shows in stock and I can pick it up today.

So... if I go to the store, will they not honor the bundle? Or what’s going on here?

I work at Walmart and no Walmart won't honor the bundle. It's an online only promo, Walmart has started to beef up it's online presence and they are now doing special online deals only. I recently bought a Switch bundle from them because I get 10% off before taxes.

So I tried getting in on this deal thinking I could get a $35 gift card plus a 10% discount off the $299 and I found out Walmart excludes employee discounts when offering a gift card. So in the end I was better off with the $299 bundle that included a screen protector and carrying case.
