The FA Trophy second round proper draw coming to talkSPORT 2 live on Monday afternoon

The Buildbase FA Trophy second round proper draw will broadcast live on the Ray Stubbs Show on talkSPORT 2 this Monday from 1pm.

The first round proper gets underway this weekend where the 62 teams will reduced to the 32 clubs to be included in the draw.

Tranmere Rovers, Leyton Orient, Dagenham and Redbridge, Torquay United and Hartlepool are among the former Football League clubs involved in the action this weekend, hoping to take another step towards a day out at Wembley.

And of course holders York City are still in the competition and face a difficult trip away at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday afternoon.

Alongside Ray will be former Celtic, Brighton and Colchester defender Adam Virgo and non-League expert Tony Incenzo to draw the teams out.

Ahead of Monday’s draw, Ray said: “It’s a privilege to be asked to host the draw, this competition is really starting to hot up now.  

“There are some famous old clubs taking part in the competition this weekend and they’d love to take another giant step towards a Wembley date on May 20.
