He had a good run, he got in, got rich and got out.

Hand the belt over to uncle Tony, he don't want this life anymore.
 
At this point Conor is nothing more than a sideshow.

Isnt he trying to fight Paquiao? He has some big boxing paydays lined up it seems before hed return to mma.

If you aren't in the spotlight your fame disappears quickly. He'll be back, he just had a child and you got the holidays going on. I'm not sure any fighter enjoys fighting or training around the holidays. So I a guy who just took home 100million or whatever sure the hell isn't getting out bed to train and diet at that time. I think we'll get some good news of him coming back to the UFC early 2018. May not fight til spring or early summer but will be announced earlier.
 
He was referring to Manny reaching out not his UFC career. Conor pissed through money too quick to quit yet. He'll be back. He ain' going to be like bj Penn and taking ass whoopings till he's pushing 40 but he's got too many big paydays in front of him to quit right now

It depends how you view it.
IMO he did what he set to do (make money).
Now he is just beginning the next phase of his life...


For his fans, yeah, sad day.
For the rest of MMA, probably a day to celebrate... then again, he has been irrelevant for the past year, so I just hope Dana take his belt away and be done with it.
