A similar con job was the perpetuation of the myth that the Obama administration was somehow fudging the employment data by excluding people who had voluntarily left the labor force, as if that wasn't the way that the unemployment rate was always calculated.

Along those lines, another myth that was perpetuated was that the decline in the US labor force was due to the "Obama economy" when, in reality, it's largely been a product of the fact that the baby boomers started to reach retirement age during Obama's presidency.

The idiotic supporters won't ever be able to appreciate the millions of lost tax revenue from these cushy deals saving 200 jobs. They can just blame it on the gubberment and hand over more to private capital.

Of course Trump will eventually fail if those trade deals don't get overturned. I was aware that Carrier deal would be short term. Sadly, he's looking more and more like a globalist and less about Americanism every day.

But again, What did Hillary offer those people in the rust belt? She didn't even do a campaign stop in some of those states for the last few months of the election, figuring that "pussy grabbing" would land her the election.

You're a rust belt employee that's lost his job or is about to lose his job. Who the fuck are you voting for? The doofus guy who promises the moon and more jobs that you know is a long shot at best. Or the woman who can't even bother to come to your state and tell you she'll do nothing?

It's exactly what's being expressed. As it was when the WR talked about this last year when people wanted to crap on Trump for making the deal by diminishing the fact it saved 1400 jobs. And even then Carrier stated it would be letting 500 of those jobs go due to Automation renovations later this year. Even that was scrutinized at the time here in the WR.

Got love the all the liberal media outlets beating this horse again. Actually I don't love it... Whatever.
