I fell and hit my head (front right forehead) and felt a solid hit.

I didn't have a headache afterwards, memory loss, confusion, loss of conciousness, trouble sleeping etc.

But I did have a bit of a daze, a tiny bit nauseous, and a bit tired. Nothing crazy significant, I just felt like I whacked my head. Went and laid down, felt fine in the morning and no lingering affects.

Weird thread, just a bunch of nonsense that almost looks like words. You OK op?

Yes, it is.
Unfortunately, my friend's daughter just got a concussion playing on the playground. She fell on her back from about 4-5 feet height. And I was the one who didn't catch her, as I was standing right there, and I was supposed to catch her just in case. FML. I feel so responsible and guilty.

The girl is 4.5 y.o., didn't lose consciousness, no memory loss, no trouble sleeping, not even a bump on her head. She did have some headache. We immediately took her to the nearest doctor's office, then called for the emergency vehicle, and then took her to the hospital for x-rays and stuff. She did puke twice in between / after that.

2 days later she's jumping hoops again. But minor concussion was there. I pray to all the Gods she recovers completely.

Get yourself squared and then get a proper diagnosis. I've been knocked out in sports a few times a probably suffered a few that went un-diagnosed. Head injuries are no joke.

How exactly did you get hurt? And be honest.

Interesting. I wouldn't feel guilty, you were being responsible, that is something you couldn't help.

It seems to me that there is a very fine line between just banging your head and getting a mild concussion. Like surely if you bang your head you are going to be a little dazed

Rough housing. Tripped over someone's leg and fell forward, I was somewhat crouched at the time but went head first. It was also a very long time ago. But I was thinking about it today and wondering if, after all, I did actually get a mild concussion or not.

If you're OK after sleeping, you're OK. Just check online other sources. Sounds like a fun night...I wouldn't worry too much unless you feel sick tomorrow

Next time slide down a little bit or invest in one of those padded headboards.

Not saying the line is not there. I'm saying it is possible to have a concussion without showing the symptoms. Feeling nauseated is one of the symptoms of concussion, though. I always recommend going to a doctor, just in case.

p.s. I do feel guilty as I was warned by my friend that she might jump, and I stood there "prepared" and I just missed catching her. And, to make things worse, I was the one who "suggested" the playground, in the first place.

I don't think I've played a game without getting a concussion, it sorta wakes the warrior a bit.

The racing thoughts are the worst although the headache are a close second.

Some people seem to be effected worse by it than others.

Never been unconscious or thrown up etc. The mildest symptom I get is like a buzzing sensation, like there's a very low level electricity through my whole body.
