Mario Encyclopedia Explores The Series
Hot off the heels of the successful Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia, Dark Horse publishing is bringing Mario fans an encyclopedia of their own.
The Super Mario Encyclopedia chronicles the plumber's journey through all the mainline games from 1985's Super Mario Bros. to Super Mario 3D World in 2013. The book – a 256-page tome – covers every major game in terms of each game's unique items, enemy variety, and more in exhaustive detail.
The encyclopedia goes on sale on October 23 for $39.99, though no special editions of any sort have been announced.
