For the first time in its history, the Laureato is welcoming a new version entirely clothed in black ceramic, the Laureato 42 mm Black Ceramic. The new watch not only takes a walk on the dark side, but also evokes a cool charisma and strong presence.
Though not the first to use the dark material, the new Laureato projects a strong presence and coolness that few watches are able to muster.

The dark ceramic projects a personality of its own. The lines of the case, dial and hands are drawn from the recent evolution shown in the Laureato of 2017, a revision of the original design of the 1970s. The design is defined by polished octagonal bezel fitted on an integrated case with no lugs or loops. The use of ceramic affords the watch with a scrath-resistant and scratch resistant surface.
The differential finishing of polished surfaces and satin-brushed ones provide a sense of depth even with the use of the entirely black material. Nice visuals.
The case is 42mm in diameter and the bracelet is an extension of the case, distinguished with wide satin brushed links and domed polished interlink elements.

An interesting inter play of the surface finishing makes for a powerful aesthetic. The polished sections contrasts nicely with the satin-brushed surfaces and creates a depth effect.
