Senator Ted Cruz autographed his book Monday at the opening of his New Hampshire campaign office in Manchester.
CONCORD, N.H. — US Senator Ted Cruz wrapped up a two-day New Hampshire trip for his presidential campaign, arguing that he is the proven antiestablishment candidate in a crowded field of GOP contenders.
Speaking to the New Hampshire House Business Caucus at a sports bar, Cruz told a crowd of about 150, “If you see a candidate that Washington embraces, run and hide.” There are others in the race, the Texan said, who are “squishy Washington establishment moderates, but they don’t tell you that.”
Recent polling of the presidential race shows that Republican primary voters are embracing candidates who appear to challenge the party’s long-time lawmakers and politicians. For example, on Sunday and Monday, two separate surveys showed political newcomers Donald Trump and Ben Carson leading the GOP field in the Iowa Caucuses.
During Cruz’s trip to the Granite State, he visited a lobster pound, attended house parties, and opened his state headquarters in Manchester. It was his first trip to New Hampshire since late May. Instead, Cruz has spent much of his campaign time in Iowa and South Carolina, where there is a stronger evangelical community — a group he frequently courts for its reliable votes in those states.
If he were elected president, Cruz said he would focus on the economy, protect constitutional rights, and “restore America to greatness” with a strong foreign policy.
In a crowded field of 17 Republican presidential campaigns, Cruz led the pack in terms of fund-raising directly to his campaign. (A super PAC for former Florida governor Jeb Bush raised much more.)
While Cruz raised money and opened offices throughout the day, his Texas colleague, former governor Rick Perry, lost his second co-chairman in Iowa. Former US senator Rick Santorum announced that a top Hawkeye State staffer, Karen Fesler, would join his team — yet another sign that Perry’s campaign is sputtering due to lack of funds.
Robert Stein, a political science professor at Rice University in Houston, said the main reason why Cruz has ascended while Perry struggled is the baggage from the governor’s 2012 campaign.
“Why go with a used and failed candidate when you can have a new, fresh face without the baggage of previous runs for office and no diminution in conservative furor,” Stein said. “It’s also worth noting that Cruz has a clear plan for his path to the nomination, one built on becoming the standard bearer for evangelicals, Tea Party, and nonestablishment Republicans. If he survives through South Carolina, Super Tuesday states look very hospitable to his candidacy.”

Jeb is the antidisestablishment candidate.
He has long since proven it simply by speaking the truth of the games they play in DC.
Trump will beat Progs to a pulp.
====================================================
It's disappointing that Cruz's transparent "VP-pick-me" gambit keeps propagating that he "bonded" w/ Trump over the issue of illegal immigration."
Trump and Cruz are miles apart.
Cruz has championed an expansion of legal immigration, arguing it would help the economy. During the 2013 immigration debate, Cruz proposed an amendment to the gang of eight Senate bill that he boasted would dramatically increase the annual limit on H-1B skilled guest worker visas from65,000 to 325,000a five-fold expansion.
Cruz also voted for Obama's trade deal...a deal Trump plans to obliterate.
And while Trump has ignited America's visceral contempt for politiciansCruz is a Washington wonk. He has yet to highlight even one of his 20 odd Senate committees as a campaign credential.
A huge red flag is that Cruz. consistently depicting himself as "latino".....the first elected by Texas. Yet his family bgrnd indicates only his father is Spanish; his mother is not---she's Irish and Italian from each of her parents. Cruz has been living large, seeking the spotlight off his last name for ages. Could be a latino "us against them" battle-cry lurking behind all of his conservative blather.
AND he is anti-establishment... putting the Crony Capitalists on guard for the possible SLAMMER... if he is elected..
Scares the bejesus out of them...
TRUMP... well he is a proven confirmed well known crony capitialist..
HE BRAGS ABOUT IT... beams with pride about it..
Thinks you are a moron.. and could be right..
I’m not.. I knew Bush Jr. was a crony from the beginning just so with Trump..
TRUMP is bad news even more than George Bush was..
Bush threw a few BONES at conservatives but spent like a crony capitalist.. gave US OBAMA..
TRUMP will make Bush look like like Al Franken..
Stupid and incompetent.. TRUMP knows how to SPEND..
He’s already threatened to raise Taxes..
Cruz has treatened to reduce taxes and FLUSH the income tax.. institute the Flat Tax.. (or Something else)
His H1-B position is killing him.
Instead of rallying behind him, too many on the right are being bedazzled by some big-government huckster populist and his crafty well-sputtered angry soundbites.
Cruz is the man!
Cruz is a true constitutionalist and has been since the beginning.
Trump and Cruz are miles apart.
Very true... extremely true...
Cruz is a Constitutionalist..
Trump could care less about the Constitution..
like Obama and all the other Crony Capitalists..
THEY tolerate the Constitution.. ( if they hafta)..
Will LIE to your face.. piss on your leg and tell you the rain is warm today ...
ISN’T IT!.. And you damn well better say YES..
i.e. IRS, CIA, FBI, NSA, Congress, Supremes, media traitors..
Yes.., indeed Liz the Constitution is at STAKE..
Vote for TRUMP and you can wipe your... ugh... Nose with it..
When the Speaker of the House, a member of your own party, publicly calls you a jackass, you are officially NOT a Washington or party insider.
Cruz repeatedly has said the phrase, “working with both sides of the aisle”, in his interview answers.
That is how we got to this point in history.
He, presently, sits in the Senate, and therefore, by sheer association, is part of the problem.
Now, were he to remove himself from the Senate, and then run, things might be different.

Watch the video. Ted Cruz talked about his father coming here with a student visa. After graduating, he started up a company and created jobs in this country.
Do you want a tide that will lift all the boats in an economic boom, including your job? Or, do you want to protect your job and have the whole country go down the tube? Our K-12 education system is sub-par. We need qualified students for STEM graduate programs in order to create new innovations and expand our economic pie for everybody.
May 14, 2013
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) today presented an amendment to the Gang of Eight immigration bill that would improve our nation’s legal immigration system by increasing high-skilled temporary worker visas, called H-1B visas, by 500 percent. The measure would effectively address the needs of our nation’s high-skilled workforce by helping meet the growing demand for workers in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. It will also make block grants available to states to promote STEM education efforts and increase domestic STEM professionals. The committee voted against the amendment 4 to 14 with every Democrat voting against it on a party-line vote.
“I strongly support legal immigration. Legal immigration is a fundamental pillar of our nation's heritage, and I was pleased today to offer legislation that would have improved and expanded legal immigration by dramatically increasing the cap for high-tech temporary worker visas. This amendment would not only improve the current system, but would also encourage economic growth and create new jobs in America. There is currently a serious shortage of workers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math, yet every year we send thousands of high-tech graduate students back to their home countries to start businesses and create jobs. This makes no sense. I’m disappointed in the committee’s vote to reject expanding high-tech immigration. Although the Gang of Eight's bill makes a modest step towards improving high-tech immigration, it does not go nearly far enough. There is no reason to arbitrarily cap high-tech visas at 110,000 when these jobs are going unfilled. We need economic growth here and now.”
Sen. Cruz’s amendment would:
Immediately increase the H-1B cap by 500 percent from 65,000 to 325,000.
Help retain the high-skilled workers that are trained in the U.S. by allowing “dual intent.”
Create block grants for states to promote STEM education in their public schools by raising H-1B fees.
Trump is more of an insider than Ted is
Then please explain why Trump and Cruz support each other? Is Cruz stupid?
Ted Cruz supports what Trump does right, not everything Trump does. He will not attack anyone ad hominem.
Then please explain why Trump and Cruz support each other? Is Cruz stupid?
BECAUSE: Trump is currently on the same page as Cruz...
except on a few things from a different book.. entirely..
Basically they SPOUT the same logic.. but Cruz has been doing it longer with more gusto..
you know.... BELIEVABLY..
The are OPPONENTS in the race for President...
If you’re opponent is digging a hole WHY STOP HIM.?.
Trump has no idea of eviscerating the federal gov’t..
You know............... like Cruz will...
Cruz will either bury him in that hole -OR- HIRE HIM..
Jurys out on that..
She’s worse than a concern troll, Jewbacca. Liz’s previous comments have been clearly anti-semetic.
For those that dont know of Lizs previous Anti-Semetic postings, she was called out for them and never responded.

Liz went after Cruz on his speech of Defense of Christians (the event Cruz spoke at to persecuted Arab Christians where he was forced off stage because he likened their plight to the Israelis) which Liz found offensive and accused Cruz of taking advantage of the Christians goodwill. In a similar post also called out Cruz for being a neocon and war monger in support of NWO Globalist (all her words which you can see in the previous posts, not mine).
Obviously this looks like a Ron Paulbot based on the terminology used. Judging by some of the other personal attacks on Cruz, in addition to not liking Israelis, it looks like they have something against Hispanics as well.
But dont take my word, read the link from the previous thread and view Lizs own words yourself. What other conclusion is there to come to regarding their attack of Cruz at the Defense of Christians forum?
And surprise, surprise, I still havent found any comments coming out against the Iran Nuke deal because, you know, Ron Paul loves this deal.”
Ted needs FIREWORKS, he is so mundane, doesn’t keep him from being right, just keeps him out the news.
