I'm starting to wonder if maybe Mueller doesn't care if all these conflicts of interest come out--he still has the media and the Democrats and the Republican establishment on his side. He may think he can present a totally bogus set of particulars to Congress alleging crimes by President Trump ("obstruction" for firing Comey or for not firing Flynn fast enough) and that they will follow through and remove him. It would be a way to teach the "deplorables" who voted against the Obama/Clinton/Soros cabal that the deep state rules and they can do nothing about it.

If so, he and his allies may assume any reactions from the deplorables can be easily suppressed.
