Senior German Politician Calls For National Burqa Ban, Including Tourists
Breitbart London ^ | 11-30-15 | SARKIS ZERONIAN

A senior German politician, who backs a national burqa ban, has said that the law should also cover tourists to the country from the Arab world.

The Bavarian State Minister of Economic Affairs, Ilse Aigner, was speaking to German newspaper Die Welt after her party congress in Munich recently approved two proposals -- one a burqa ban (the full body covering) and one a ban on the niqab (the face veil). She said:

"When I have traveled to Iran, I have obeyed the country's commandments and worn a headscarf. Likewise I expect women from the Arab world visiting this country to give up the full-face veil. Such laws are not just for people with German citizenship."

Calling for the Christian Social Union's policy of a niqab and burqa ban to be adopted by Germany as a whole, Ms. Aigner continued:

"This is mainly about showing your face. It is about social interaction, seeing each other. It does not fit into our culture to hide - and it contradicts our idea of equality for women. The law should be quickly passed by the Bundestag."

It is a matter of safety from terrorism and safety of the German public at large. These people should be forced to even justify why they are in Germany to start with.

About time. In a muslim country the insist that you follow their customs and some countries ban churches and any Christian symbol. Why then do we not demand that muslims living in the west follow our customs and ban the building of mosques?

the ban won’t matter... about 90% of the ‘refugees’ were males.

German pols should focus on getting rid of Merkel and then exporting the Muzzies to the some $hit-hole location in Syria, without even spending a dime to research what country they came from.

The ban would accomplish three things: (1) make Germany a no-go for extreme-Islam tourism (it is one of the top places they like to go and spend money). (2) It’d make it difficult for far-extreme families to practice or show their affiliation in public. (3) Start a new trend where you’d look for a burqa-friendly country when you ‘choose’ countries.

Odds of this passing with the SPD, Greens and Linke Party against it? Zero. It’ll have to go state-by-state and two states in March of next year will have election elections where this could be a determining factor on who you vote for.

Ilse is right. The traditional female dress codes are nothing more than symbols of slavery.

WEASELY COWARDS

Of course it is so easy to ban .... clothing.
And of course even easier to ban .... women’s clothing.

How about ban IMMIGRANTS from the Middle East and North Africa, especially young male immigrants.

No... can’t have that. They might fight back.
So we cowardly Western men are going to ban women’s garments instead.

” about 90% of the ‘refugees’ were males.”

I have seen this number before, and pictures of the refugees seem to support it. But I am wondering whether the number is really true.

Muslims have such strict codes of no mingling between males and females unless within a family unit. Furthermore, if I was in the group of refugees, as a female, I would certainly not be walking with the males - - - who are OF COURSE, in the front of the line. Attitudes of Muslim men toward women as such that there would me gang rapes going on all along the trail. In fact I have read that there was a lot of trouble like that in the refugee camps and the Euro countries had to maintain separate camps for the women and children in order to protect them.

Oh, the irony of it. Western Christian males protecting Muslim women from rape by Muslim men.

I would certainly not be walking with the males - - - who are OF COURSE, in the front of the line.

Right after WWII, some Brit opined that the war had liberated Islamic females as they were now often seen walking in front of the men.

Another Brit replied that was because there were so many mines left over that the men were using the women to clear their path.
