Who would win?
It was evident yesterday that Groves couldn't run away from Froch in that small ring. Imagine Ward having to stand toe to toe with Froch. I got Froch by KO

anyone v Froch standing toe to toe is going to lose

LOL did you guys actually watch Froch/Ward? If not, here's a link:

Ward stood toe-to-toe with Froch for long periods and totally nullified his game, and this was with a broken hand for the majority of the fight.

Froch has nothing for Ward.

LOL Ward's aorta would have to explode during the fight for Froch to even have a chance.

Froch has contributed more drama, excitement, inspriation, damage, guts, heart, chin than Ward or just about any recent fighter.

When we sit back smoking our pipes in 10 years time, its Froch we'll be talking about. Not Ward.

Fuck it I want the fight to happen. Froch has a chance against him. Dillashaw beat Barao ffs.

I hope so mcuh that the fight doesn't happen it's completely pointless. Have you even seen the first fight? Ward didn't move he went right at Froch, smothered him and beat him on the inside a smaller ring won't make much of a difference and I can guarantee you that Ward will get the ring he wants vs Froch

Perhaps.

Doesn't change the fact that this is a silly fucking topic.

Froch ain't beating Ward.

Totally agree unless Ward does something dramatic.

That said, as much as i love Carl he would never beat Ward, regardless of circumstances. Just a horrible match up for him against a better fighter.

Froch was still getting outboxed in that small ring. Ward would make him look silly just like he did the first time.

So what its a competitive sport, hit and not get hit.

Probably want to rewatch the fight because Ward handled him in every aspect including toe to toe.

The last time they fought I scored it 10-2 for Ward... Ward took him to school.

He beat Froch on the outside and the inside. I believe he'll do the same in the rematch.

why a small ring? so that ward could wreck him on the inside ?

Arturo Gatti argument. It's been almost ten years and I'm talking about Floyd.

Ward is a really good fighter on the inside. He fires shorter punches that would beat Froch's looping ones. Froch is indefatigable but Ward wins, even in a small ring.

Ward wins whether they fight in a football field or a phone booth

Ward is a smothering fighter. Ring size won't matter. Probably wins another 8-4 type fight that no one enjoys if they fight again.

If Froch wants to keep fighting, he should go for some of the huge money fights that are out there.

If Ward wants to keep fighting, he should, you know, fight someone.
