I never had one before ... only seen em in movies. The questionaire was terrifying - have you ever had metal fragments in your eye? OMG the MRI magnet would rip your eye right out of your head

Anyway they're going to look at my back and try to find out why the right side of my body don't work.

also got physio at the hospital starting tomorrow which is suppose to be really thorough.

Talking to a coworker who went through all the same symptoms, can't sit on your right ass cheek, leg to foot goes numb and weird and so on, and she had to get a disk spacer put in or somethin

Wish me luck peeps

Yes and can't recall being even slightly worried about it.

Wish you luck with it though.

Prepare for boredom is my advice.

Oh and I have a mate who has similar symptoms so interested to hear the result if you feel like sharing.

MRI of brain is no picnic if you are fidgety.

I'm so fidgity - I often use two fidget cubes at the same time while my legs kick out all over the place

If you've seen me on Sherdog at all you know I'll share ... everything lol

hope you're no claustrophobic and don't mind being alone for 20 mins with loud bangs coming from the machine :D:D

I'm almost certain I'll fall asleep

I can fall asleep in most situations when I'm laying down

One time there was a cat fight on my stomach while I was sleeping that the wife told me about

I just posted quietly through a three day EMU study, an MRI is twenty minutes of nothing

Best of luck. I don’t think you’ll have any problem at all with the test. Hoping the results actually lead to some answers.

You'll be fine. Just hum the Yub Nub song in your head, and the time will fly by. Guarantee it'll happen now as you're laying in there, and you'll curse me out loud!. They'll stop the test briefly, and say "Sorry, what was that Mr. Clippy, we didn't quite catch that, are you ok?"

I can also see the MRI being done, and they're trying to talk to you about when the results will be ready, and you'll be on your phone posting to Sherdog and won't even hear what they're saying to you

Can you diagnose crazy with an MRI?

Sounds like hip bursitis. I've gotten 2 cortisone shots in my hip and it finally started to make a big difference but before that i had many of the same symptoms.

BTW When I went for my MRI for my neck I didn't think it would bother me but let me tell ya it fucking sucked. Being put in head first in a tight space for 15+ minutes really brought on the claustrophobia I never knew I had. If I had to do it again I'd go in drugged up for sure.

Dont listen to them @Clippy
they are all lying!
An MRI will give you AIDS.
Dont do it!

I went to the A&E a few weeks ago and had a finger up my arse.

Some small, chubby, thirty-or-so Muslim woman did it.

I found it odd that a person of a different gender was used but I was cool with it. She had small fingers and I didn't have to pull knuckle hair out of my arse.
