If they were THAT great, they wouldn't be gatekeepers would they?

Mike Bisping. Winning the belt doesnt change the fact that he was THE gatekeeper in the UFC for a decade.

You gotta be pretty good to be a gatekeeper imo... you always need to be in the Top 10 but just can't get that title...

For me he's the definition of a Gatekeeper... Only ever lost to champions (Soak-A-Jew notwithstanding), and he blocked a shitload of dude's path to a titleshot - that's a gatekeeper - albeit a very good one.
