I got through Season 1 and most of Season 2. I'm not impressed. I remember my mom, stepdad and their friends loving the show. I even thought it was okay when I was a kid, but now , I think it's crap. Does it get better? Should I keep watching?

I really liked Fraiser but didn't like Cheer that much, so for me the best part of the show is creating the character Fraiser.

It has its moments. I always liked Becker a lot more. Ted killed it on that show.

If you like older sitcoms, watch All in The Family. It is the GOAT.

I saw some episodes a couple of years back and still liked it.

Strong likable characters, not exactly groundbreaking comedy but would happily watch post roast on a sunday afternoon and makes me nostalgic.

Prefer it to Taxi.

Fucking hell ya it was. Sammy! Sammy! Every sherdogger aspires to be like him

It gets a lot better when Woody Harrelson and Kirstie Alley join the cast
Definitely worth sticking with
Its considered a classic for good reason

I liked it. AT the time, it was def hot, and is still one of the GOAT's. Watching that and Night Court were GREAT memories as a kid.

I recall feeling that way as a kid, but upon reviewing some of the first and second season later in life I realized that Coach was actually pretty hilarious as the bumbling older, occasionally wise and occasionally confused bartender.

Shelley Long was the perfect counterbalance to Ted Danson. Kiistie was little more than a fill-in.

Woody Harrelson stood on his own, in any event. Guy was hilarious - but then again, he's Woody Harrelson.

Cliff and Norm were hilarious in their roles, and the randomly appearing cast of background bar folk were very well utilized.

i blame tv and "Cheers" show for my drinking problems."beer buddy"?You can't just watch them, empty handed...

Top 3 GOAT sitcom.

Norm'isms are awesome. One of my buddies saw George Wendt in Toronto, and yelled "Norm!", of course he just looked over and rolled his eyes. How many times do you think that guy hears that?

Sam "mayday" Malone is one of the best characters of all time.

GOAT sitcom, no question. I remember getting a little chocked up watching the last episode as a kid.

Totally agree, at the time I liked Rebecca and Woody, but watching back, Coach and Diane are absolutely awesome in their roles. "Albania!" "Albania!" "You border on the Adriatic!"

Been forever since I've seen it.

What did Norm do for a living again?

Or was he just a career alcoholic?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
