Final Fantasy 15 will receive an online, co-op multiplayer mode, Square Enix announced Thursday morning as part of its Paris Games Week press conference. Called Comrades, the paid add-on feature will give up to four players the chance to take on enemies as lead hero Prince Noctis and his three best friends.

Comrades will be available as part of the $24.99 season pass, but Square Enix will also sell the expansion pack separately; pricing has not been announced for the individual purchase.

The rest of the season pass takes the time to get players better acquainted with Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto, with whom Noctics pals around the world of Eos. Each one stars in his own episode filled with new enemies and areas to explore. Square Enix also mentions “unique play styles” for each of the three additional characters.

There’s no release schedule yet for the content, although there are Final Fantasy 15 bundles that include the DLC set at launch. The game’s due on Nov. 29 after nearly 10 years in development, and we’ve already gotten to try — and enjoyed — its first 15 hours. Watch some of our highlights below.
