Free Xbox One/360 Games With Gold for August 2016 Revealed

The lineup of free games Xbox Live Gold members will receive in August has been announced, with the first of the games set to be available next week.

Xbox One's games include Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and WWE 2K16. The Xbox 360 games (which are also playable on Xbox One) are Spelunky and Beyond Good & Evil HD.

Now Playing: Xbox Games with Gold - August 2016

The first games (Warriors and Spelunky) will go free on August 1; the other two will then join the service on August 16. Xbox Live Gold members who claim them (either through their console or the Xbox website) will then have unlimited access to the games for as long as they remain Gold subscribers.

You can still claim the current slate of Games With Gold titles, two of which (The Banner Saga 2 and Tron Evolution) will leave at the end of July.

August 2016 Games With Gold Lineup:

Xbox One:

  • Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate (August 1-31)
  • WWE 2K16 (August 16-September 15)

Xbox 360:

  • Spelunky (August 1-15)
  • Beyond Good & Evil HD (August 16-31)
