Chelsea target Alvaro Morata says playing for Real Madrid is the greatest sensation you can feel

Alvaro Morata has revealed that he still feels 'goosebumps' every time he steps out on to the Santiago Bernabeu pitch in the white of Real Madrid.

The Spain international is back at his boyhood club after re-joining from Juventus last summer as Real took up their option to re-sign him. Premier League leaders Chelsea hold an interest in the forward should they sell Diego Costa this summer.

And despite winning five trophies in two seasons at Juve, as well as reaching the 2014-15 Champions League final, the 24-year-old believes the Italian giants don't compare to their Spanish counterparts.

'As a child I went with my parents and my family to the Bernabeu,' he said.

'I remember that one day we were watching El Clasico I said to my father: "Someday I will play here".

'As it turned out, I did, and it was the greatest sensation that you can feel.

'It's true that Juventus have an incredible stadium too, but this is the Bernabeu, you just see photos and you get goosebumps. It was my dream, and I was lucky enough to realise it.'

Morata will get another chance to play at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday in La Liga when Real look to get back to winning ways against Malaga.
