Huh. I'm curious as to when that actually went up. I was standing on that corner late yesterday morning and didn't even notice it.

No doubt. That leads me to believe there's far more than 2 out there, if they went to that kind of effort.

I will make the same distasteful joke I made 500 comments in on another article about the yoga teacher shooting.

"Of course they shot the Yoga teacher.  Even though her hands were up, she was still able to reach for her ankle holster."

FTFA: The signs reference the killing of Justine Damond just over a week ago by Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor.

No, they also refer to the killings of Terrance Franklin, Jamar Clark, and Philando Castile too. The fact that it says "Twin Cities" makes it obvious that it's not just Justine.

Too small. Print 'em bigger and keep them by the door in case the police show up.

Great image. Could be used on stickers, tee shirts, posters, heck make a stencil and have graffiti artists do that instead of the ubiquitous tags they normally do. Some wealthy person should donate a billboard featuring it. I'd love to see it everywhere.

If there is the tiniest chance it makes one cop feel too ashamed to shoot an unarmed person, it's worth it.

Ugh. I live in lauderdale which is next to falcon heights. I see philandos memorial many times a week. I never saw anything like what would lead me to believe FH/etc police are racist or whatever. And yet here we are. I think it speaks to a greater issue too: the police have shifted fully into us v them. If you aren't wearing blue, you are a potential killing threat no matter what.

This is a direct result of SWAT and such i believe. The focus has changed from serve and protect to eliminate threats. and every interaction starts from that basis.

Could they be legally displayed in people's gardens, as "yard art" ?

How soon before we can buy them on ebay?

Don't worry, the cops shooting unarmed people are still working too....somehow thst doesn't affect the 'good cops' morale though.
