Total War: Warhammer sells half a million copies in three days

Within three days, the game has already sold half a million copies, which is a franchise record.

The latest entry in the Total War series launch at 8am BST on Tuesday, May 24 and regularly tops 100,000 concurrent players. No wonder there were server issues at launch.

As of press time, there are currently 76,590 folks playing the game on Steam.

If you have yet to pick the strategy game up, which critics seem to enjoy, you have until Tuesday, May 31 to get the Chaos Warriors Race Pack free with purchase.

The Pack adds three new playable Legendary Lords such as the Dragon Ogre Kholek Suneater along with new Chaos Warrior mounts, units and monsters. It also includes new quests, magic items, abilities and a new horde campaign playstyle.
