"Through this exercise, we were able to identify over 100,000 instances of the new pattern related to use of cheat and now we have confirmed that it was clearly an attempt of compromising our game. These players will be permanently banned in a single wave."On top of this, the PUBG team is taking legal action in certain countries against cheat distributors. The developer also wants to improve its security systems.
There are a couple of gameplay tweaks on the way for PUBG as well. A fix is incoming for a death cam bug that shows no recoil on players, even though they aren't using a cheat. And the blue zone will be getting rebalanced.
