Sadly, during MineCon Earth, Mojang announced that "there’s a lot of work to be done still" on the Pack, and its release has been pushed back from this year to an unspecified date in 2018.The company also revealed that cross-platform multiplayer for the Switch version of the game has also been delayed until 2018.
Both of these updates were originally announced at this year's E3 and the Better Together update which allows for cross-play has already been released on Xbox One, Android, iOS and Windows 10.
Sony has purposefully stopped PlayStation from being included in the list of supported platforms for fear of player safety online, though they are reportedly in talks with Microsoft to bridge this gap.
