It has a really odd tone for a James Bond film but I'm gonna watch it.

If it were anyone else directing, I would say it looks like a Coen brothers knock off, but Soderberg is just as much a genius as those guys, so I'll go with Coen brothers-adjacent.

I just heard a piece of this old Steve Miller song in that clip, and here it is from a long time ago.

I never realized he directed Magic Mike. Explains so much, he's one of my all time favorite filmmakers and that film was much better than it had any right to be. This looks like it's going to be great too.

Soderbergh directing another one where it looks like we got a lotta lawbreakers up in here?

I'm in.

This looks like the less interesting, work-for-hire, though sometimes quite entertaining version of Soderbergh. Which may or may not be pretty cool. I'm going with the former, for now.

Loves me some Daniel Craig but him doing a hillbilly accent? I'm cringing already.

Looks great but, as a North Carolinian, I wince.

Channing's doing pretty good central Alabama (grew up there) but I imagine the rest of it was take after take of, "more twiang and try again."

On the plus, it will probably be better than "Masterminds."
