Does anyone else see the irony in Team Alpha Male questioning his decision to leave the team, and then get completely out coached by TJ and Bam.

I mean it's not just Cody getting out coached, it's their whole coaching staff getting smoked by TJ.

Thoughts?

To me TAM seems like a team that attracts great fighters not creates great fighters. Cody himsself has claimed he wanted to go there way before and he was a talented fighter before TAM. It's not like some other gyms that have created great fighters from scratch or have fixed glaring flaws in fighters. Can't see any of that here. Hell the only noticeable improvement I have seen is in TJ himself who improved the most thanks to Ludwig teaching him striking.

I agree that they are great at prospecting, but I disagree that they don't create great fighters. They can take them to a certain level (title shots) but whether or not they continue to improve after that level is up for debate.

I came into this thing rooting for TAM, but they're coming off like a bunch of clueless douchebags. Hard to envision that Cody is going to evolve much with that group.

its pretty annoying they keep bringing it up like none of them have ever been on another team and left.

I mean money is the name of the game I'm really looking forward to TJ vs Cody

DOn't look at their fighter achievements but improvements. The only ones that did happen were the ones where Ludwig could help - that's why TJ went with him since Ludwig actually helped him.

I also don't think they are that good at prospecting. They are simply a strong brand so they attract strong fighters.

i'm surprised TJ stuck around as long as he did

his personality is way different than the frat boy mentality over a TAM

The endless crying and whining about TJ leaving is annoying. It's like watching a teenage girl crying that TJ took someone else to prom.

Yeah honestly because I respect Faber and wasn't sure if TJ was a good dude I used to think maybe TAM had legit reasons for their beef about TJ. But once I really thought about it after seeing their back and forth on TUF the thought occurred to me that all the time the vast majority of fighters will say in interviews and so on "Yeah I was with this gym but then I went to this other one and then I wound up at another one because it's the best place for me." It's normal and no big deal, they all do it. So all due respect I don't really see where TAM is coming from losing their minds about it, seems silly and unprofessional. And TJ seems like an okay enough person so I don't question his character anymore, at least not much.
