How about this fight for Lyoto's comeback... Winnable one :) (risk of shad face 2, lol)
 
Both fighters are pretty far from where they were when they last fought. I don't know if it makes sense. Unless Shad really wants the chance to avenge that loss, I say move on, we've seen it.
 
I would have loved to see this fight in 2013 at middleweight when Machida dropped down, and Rashad should have dropped down. Not now.
 
Rashad is not a top fighter anymore while Machida hasnt really lost a step skill set wise.

Not a fun fight to imagine, pass.
 
Rashad is done. Did you see that last guy he lost to? He should retire.

I'm with you on Rashad, but i'm not gonna pretend to know what Machida will look like at 39 years old after 2 years off. He was on his way out after the Romero loss.

Rashad vs Marquardt and Kelvin continues his retiring tour (after beating Anderson) and fights Machida.

Sure why not, Machida would be perfect for Suga.
At this point it's a "fun" match but honestly Suga lost to Kelly, I wouldn't picture Machida losing to Kelly.

Unfortunately Lyoto's style relies on speed, agility, and reaction time. Those are the athletic qualities that decline fastest as we age.
 
I see Machida counter striking to a forgetful decision. I love Machida but he doesn't lead often and Rashad hasn't looked good recently plus he's going to be even more tentative against Machida since he got his ass beat so bad last time.
