Ryan LaFlare was dominating Alex Oliveira, scoring takedowns and mauling him on the canvas. But with “Cowboy” being one of the most entertaining fighters in the sport who has lethal power in his hands, he was never out of the fight.
Oliveira goaded his foe into a wild slugfest in the second and he made LaFlare pay dearly for obliging. When LaFlare lunged forward with a sloppy straight left, he left his chin way up in the air, a perfect target for the Brazilian’s massive right hook. Oliveira drilled him with the punch and LaFlare fell face first, completely out. The end came officially at 1:50 of the second at UFC on Fox 25.
