Tottenham Hotspur FC transfer news: Agent reveals midfield starlet Amadou Diawara does have suitors in the Premier League

The agent of Tottenham and Everton target Amadou Diawara has confirmed interest in his client from England.

The two Premier League clubs are keeping close tabs on Diawara, who has played 14 times in Serie A for Napoli this term.

However, with only three of those appearances coming from the start, it has been suggested that the Guinean is open to a move away to guarantee more regular first-team football.

That has opened the door for the likes of Spurs and Everton to press on in their pursuit of the 20-year-old midfielder.

Now Diawara's agent, Daniele Piraino, has lifted the lid on the interest from the Premier League.

He told Tuttomercatoweb: “There are some Premier League clubs interested, but it’s premature to talk about this.

“It’s not easy to find the right tempo in a match situation if you only play every couple of months, especially considering his role in midfield.

“As soon as he gets to play more consistently, we’ll see the same world class player as last season.”
