Brentford striker Neal Maupay somehow misses open goal against Cardiff

Brentford striker Neal Maupay will not want to see this again.

The Bees player produced one of the worst misses of the season after failing to score an open goal from six-yards out.

Having beaten the Cardiff goalkeeper, Maupay weighed up his options before dragging his shot wide of the mark, much to the amusement of Bluebirds fans behind the net.

Maupay consoled himself by pulling his jersey over his head in an attempt to find a hiding place.

But  unfortunately for Maupay, his nightmare miss happened in real life.
