Woodward: Surveillance Report Likely 'Highly Classified Gossip' About Trump
FOX News ^ | March 22, 2017 | The O'Reilly Factor

Posted on 03/22/2017 9:10:14 PM PDT by Brad from Tennessee

Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward said that allegations from a report that say President Trump's transition team was named in surveillance reports of foreign individuals would be "gross violations."

A couple of diplomats who were legitimately wiretapped were talking about meeting Trump or his team, Woodward said on "The O'Reilly Factor."

However, U.S. intelligence agencies are supposed to comply with "minimization" rules, which protect Americans' names from being published in reports or leaked in any way, he added.

"The idea that there was intelligence value was really thin," Woodward said.

"You've got this really serious problem potentially of people in the Obama administration passing around this highly classified gossip," Woodward said.

He called the leaking of such names "inappropriate" and possibly illegal. If Nunes' statements are true, it would be a "gross violation."

They knew this information was floating around the intelligence agencies, Woodward said. . .

Because there was no proof of the Trump camp colluding with Russia, Obama's operatives leaked rumor, conjecture and false leads under a "secret" classification to make it appear like a smoking gun. Anxious for dirt on Trump the news media tried to turn chicken sh*t into chicken salad.

highly classified gossip

What's "highly classified" is not the gossip, but that they had it.

IT was this ‘junk’ that birthed the ‘neverTrumpers’... because they were so easily deceived by the powers that be... even all those primary candidates that ‘vowed’ to support the nominee ... were fed this malicious junk.. That is why that supremely intellectual Ted Cruz of Harvard Law School, show his ass at the convention...

The Police State - oops, I mean Deep State - tapes all of us all the time. They only listen if they ‘need’ to... and if they want to entertain themselves or damage a political opponent.

These are scary times. Much worse then most of us thought.

Trump did an incredible service by flushing every one out in the open. I was suckered in by Cruz before Trump announced he was running.

So Jamie Gorelick’s not part of the Trump admin after all?

I thought last week Boooob Woodward was telling us there was no Trump surveillance? I’m surprised these clowns don’t suffer from whiplash.

Republicans never laid a glove on Gorelick... she knows what 'cells' the proverbial bodies are buried... and lawyers are trained to bat for the team that pays them their hourly. That supposed great one Mark Levin is perfect example of the ways and means of a trained lawyer...

You've said it.

We gave a bunch to Cruz, only to give as much or more to Trump.

Only Trump could make all the unsavory people speak or act out as he's done. The spell of the Establishment rats has dissipated and left each of us fully aware of the many strings pulled by the people behind the curtain.

Apparently Trump's son-in-law hired Gorelick to do some legal work.

“JAMIE GORELICK: He is being treated and will be treated as any other individual who goes into public service. We, on his behalf, have consulted with the Office of Government Ethics, and we believe we have a very good path for bringing him into compliance with those rules.”

There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever they wanted to. You had to live--did live, from habit that became instinct--in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized.

If one asks an internet search engine “is gossip witchcraft”, one returns with some alarming information. The American people had better awaken to the word of God.

I’ve had a high-level Top Secret security clearance. Has Bob Woodward ever possessed one?

Thanks, I was just reading about that now. I didn't know, when I asked the question.

I REALLY don't want Jared in ANY position in D.C., nor his wifey...for many, many different reasons, not the least of them being that Ivanka is a political dummy and leans quite leftward and that Jared comes from a VERY lefty Dem family, he has been Chels' no-account husband's best pal since they were both tiny children, and his brother is a GIGANTIC ANTI-TRUMPER!

Now, that I see that he has hired old Jaime G. I am extremely angry, fed up, and spitting nails!

Unless I totally misread, Jared hired, personally, Gorelick to file appropriate ‘separation’ papers from his company... I do not have the impression that Gorelick is now a US government employee... The insane libs will have a hard time bashing Gorelick over Jared's supposed conflicts of interest.

When I look back from day one of Trump's campaign, few so called ‘conservatives’ let along Republicans in elected office, or in the business of writing/talking ‘conservative’ ideals were on Trump's side.

I think we now can easily surmise the Obama administration plus Rick Wilson were spreading supposed ‘confidential’ gossip to any and all about what a ‘dirty’ man Trump was. That being the case, it should not surprise, that Trump would seek familiar and trusted faces who worked very hard to run his presidential campaign.

The Clintons have been ‘utterly’ debased, and Chelsea looks to be a real dumb daughter. For the time being I am more appalled by Mitch the Senate and that lying Ryan who are in charge of Congress.

These same Republicans, playing their childish games, preening like peacocks about who really is in charge, are worse to me, than the in my face liberals, acting like a two year old wanting a piece of candy.
