Michelle Obama, campaigning for Hillary Clinton, unleashed a barrage of attacks on Donald Trump on Wednesday, calling the Republican nominee “erratic and threatening.”
The first lady — who famously said in her convention speech this summer that when Republicans “go low, we go high” — portrayed Trump as a monster during a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania campaign rally.

Does anyone remember a sitting President or First lady running around the country trashing and name-calling the opposition candidate in a race in which they were not candidates? I don’t remember Reagan doing this for Bush, Eisenhower for Nixon, Bush Jr. for McCain, or even Bill Clinton for Al Gore. Unseemly at best, trashy at worst.
