Jeb Bush on George W. Bush: 'My brother will help a lot'
WPTZ ^ | 2/14/16 | Z. Byron Wolf

Jeb Bush said campaigning with his brother, former President George W. Bush, tomorrow could help save his presidential campaign.

-snip-

"The point is, is he a popular Republican? You bet he is," Bush said of his brother. "And he will make the point ... that he knows what it takes to be president of the United States, to be commander-in-chief, to keep the country safe and that he believes that I have those skills based on my record and based on how he knows me, and that will be validator in South Carolina where values matter and where national defense matters a lot. So I'm looking forward to the event we should have a great crowd and it'll help my campaign a lot."

LOL, W couldn’t even defend himself against attacks, which is why Pelosi got control of the House in 2006 - how on earth will he be able to defend Jeb?

I’m sure Trump is just TREMBLING.

I hope he has enough dignity not to drag his father into his loooosing campaign.

I voted for him twice and at one time thought highly of him.

After his “see ya at the signing” statement about amnesty, I started looking into things deeper and discovered he had REDUCED border and interior enofrement AFTER 9/11

Unforgivable

So what is Jeb-the-Mexican expecting if he wins? Does he intend that W run the country as some sort of “ghost President?” Or can Jeb-the-Mexican just ignore shit completely, try to give the 50 million illegals in this country amnesty like W tried to do in 2006? Or totally ignore our debt, finances and not address the Democrats’ evil accusations and tricks?

Enquiring minds want to know, Jebito!

No more Bushes.

And, Yeb, after seeing how your brother’s pick of Roberts eventually shanked Americans, saying that he’ll help you is the same as saying he’ll screw us.

No more Bushes.

No more Clintons.

No more Kennedys.

No more dynasties.

No more nepotism.

The one family member he should have listened to is his mom...when she told him not to run.

The Bush Family last stand. Not sure they can perform. People are too upset about the direction the country has been going. People want to elect real change, not talk change.

The last SEVEN years? Add seven more to that. Where was he all those years while he was in office with Dems beating him up and never defending himself or us?

I hope he has enough dignity not to drag his father into his loooosing campaign.

Why not? He paraded his aging mother out in the snow on her walker hoping to improve his standings.

GW, whom I voted for twice, was a disaster, especially on border matters. Recall he did not lift a finger to help those railroaded border agents, on two occasions.

He tried to get his crony Miers onto the SC!

He threw up his hands and left an open ended check for Ozone to cash.

Lastly, for seven plus years, he did not have the chops to come out and challenge Ozone who trashed him, and by extension his supporters.

When Yep talks about his family, one thing I recall about his dad was he tried to have the indictment removed on his pal Noriega after the military went in and arrested him.

Lastly, we don’t need another dynasty in our elected offices. We were supposed to have citizens legislatures and no king.

I had a chuckle last evening when Yep was extolling the virtues of his family and mentioned the fortitude of his mother, Trumpster interjected that she should be running, not him.
