‘Atomic Super Lander’ from Crescent Moon Games and bitWeird Touches Down on September 8th

Crescent Moon Games’ next published title after the sublime Legend of the Skyfish ($3.99) is going to be Atomic Super Lander, releasing on September 8th. Crescent Moon has confirmed that this title from bitWeird Games will come with MFi controller support as well as Apple TV compatibility, and will cost $2.99. Check out the latest trailer for the game’s release:

Atomic Super Lander is an interesting mix of lunar lander, platformer, and the movie Armageddon. You have to fly to an asteroid, get to the demolition spot while dealing with various space enemies, then plant a nuclear bomb and watch as earth is saved for one more day thanks to you. Then again, the promise is for endless amounts of asteroids, so you might not really be able to save Earth, just prolong our long Arby’s-eating existence. And then the sun’s going to consume us all someday, so the point is to have some fun until the end, I suppose. But hey, this looks like a fun way to pass the time until that point!
