Earlier in this season of HBO’s Silicon Valley, Erlich and Jian-Yang of the fictional SeeFood startup launched an app that could identify hot dogs. Put a hot dog in front of it, and it’ll say “hotdog!” Put something else, like a shoe instead, and it’ll say “not hotdog!” It’s simple. A real version of the app showed up in the App Store after the episode aired. Today, it’s available on Android through the Play Store. A bunch of knockoff apps are also listed, so make sure you’re downloading the official version.

Pro tip: the app is good at identifying hot dog-themed items, too, like phone cases.

Go ahead and get out there, y’all. A world of hot dogs awaits as we approach the Fourth of July.
